🏀I. Event Overview🏀

• Indoor 3‑on‑3 half‑court tournament held at Horton Gymnasium

• All players and spectators must follow Horton Gym’s facility policies

• Registration and payment confirm your agreement to all rules, policies, and liability terms

🏀II. Game Format🏀

 

2.1 Structure

• Half‑court 3‑on‑3

• First to 15 points or 20‑minute running clock

• 1s and 2s scoring

• Ball must be cleared behind the arc after any change of possession

​

2.2 Teams

• 3 players on the court

• 1 optional substitute

• All players must be registered before games begin

​

2.3 Starting Possession

• Decided by coin toss or quick shoot‑off

• Alternates each game during bracket play

 

🏀III. Gameplay Rules🏀

 

3.1 Fouls & Physical Play

• Standard streetball contact rules

• Excessive or dangerous contact can result in removal

• Shooting fouls = one free throw worth 1 point

3.2 Out‑of‑Bounds & Dead Balls

• Sidelines and baseline apply

• Check ball at the top after out‑of‑bounds, fouls, violations, or stoppages

• No shot clock, but obvious stalling may result in a turnover

 

🏀IV. Registration & Fees🏀

 

4.1 Entry

• Entry fee must be paid in full to secure a spot

• Payments handled through Square

4.2 Refunds & Scheduling

• All entry fees are non‑refundable

• Event will not be rescheduled

 

🏀V. Prizes🏀

 

5.1 Prize Structure

• Grand Prize awarded to the tournament winner

 

5.2 Skill‑Based Competition

• W3V3’s is a skill‑based athletic event

• Results are determined solely by player performance

• This event does not constitute gambling under state or federal law

 

🏀VI. Media & Privacy🏀

6.1 Photo/Video Use

• By participating, players allow W3V3’s to use event photos and video for promotional purposes

• Filming must not interfere with gameplay

 

6.2 Registration Data

• Used only for tournament communication and operations

• Never sold or shared with outside parties

7.1 Liability

• Participation is voluntary and at the player’s own risk

• Organizers, sponsors, and venue are not responsible for injuries or accidents

• Registration serves as acknowledgment of these terms
